There is an attached double garage, currently the owner uses that for her Work-room, so is full of work items at this time. Underground sprinklers in part of the yard. Corner lot, great location. Close to shopping, schools, I-90 & much more. (Below is additional explanation of the heavy rains in 2019.)This heavy rainfall had never happened to this extent before, it was caused from an unheard of 11.5 inches of rain in 24 hrs & the street drains not being able to support that much rainfall. Water came close to the house on 2 sides (front & south-side-the street sides) of the house but the only point of entry was when water backed up into the garage 6 inches & came in through a walk-in dr from the garage, water came in the Fam rm/bathroom/laundry (on garage main entry point-which is on the same level as the main floor family room) & overflowed into the basement level due to the stair access right there on that same (garage entry)level. The sump pump couldn't fully keep up. An inch of water was on both levels & it was Professionally dried out & repaired. There is no drain in the garage. The drain in the basement did Not back up. Anytime there is significant rain of 3-4 inches, in a very short time water from the street can cover the sidewalk, but will go away & recede as soon as the rain subsides. Only in the instance of the sheer amount of rain that occurred in September 2019 did we ever have a problem with water coming in the home.
